*Thermage CPT Body
Thermage Comfort Pulsed Technology (CPT) Body is a safe, FDA-cleared non-invasive treatment that uses radiofrequency (RF) energy to smooth, tighten and contour skin anywhere on the body for a naturally younger-looking appearance.
Optional: An anaesthetist can be engaged to ensure minimal discomfort.
How it works
As you age, collagen fibers in your skin layers stretch and lose their elasticity, causing skin to sag. Your body also loses its ability to produce new collagen. Thermage CPT is a deep-heating technology that uses RF to heat the skin. The heat tightens collagen fibers that have become loose and stretched out with age. It also stimulates new collagen growth to make your skin firmer and smoother over time.
The tip on the device’s handpiece is pressed gently against your skin to deliver pulses of RF energy. While the tip cools and protects the epidermis, the energy penetrates deep into the skin to heat collagen fibers in the dermis and subcutaneous tissue.
- Wrinkled, crepey or sagging skin on the tummy, knees, arms, legs, hands or buttocks
- Sagging skin after pregnancy or weight loss
- Thin, loose, crepey skin on hands
You should feel no pain or discomfort after the procedure. You may experience redness that will subside within an hour, or slight swelling that will resolve within the day. Normal activities can also be resumed immediately after. It takes up to six months to see the full results of a Thermage CPT treatment.
