Jaw Slimming / Frown Lines / Crow Feet / Brow Lift
Achieve non-surgical facial rejuvenation through the precise application of Botulinium Toxin A to lift, re-contour the face, and rebalance the effects of sagging and ageing skin. Dermal Lift not only creates a tighter, firmer and more lifted face, it also imparts a smooth, seemingly poreless, whole-day “powdered” look that lasts for up to 6 months.
Injectable smoothers, such as Botox or Dysport or Xeomin are made from Botulinum Toxin Type A. They work by relaxing targeted muscles under the skin, which in turn smooths out wrinkles like crows feet and forehead lines.
Botox is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles and used to improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in people 18 to 65 years of age for a short period of time.
Botox can also be injected to the jaw where there is an enlarged muscle making it weakened. This will eventually make it smaller giving a face a slimmer look.
Mesobotox is a diluted form of botulinum toxin type-A Botox that almost has the same effect with Botox which minimizes the wrinkling of the skin, however, it also has micro-injections of healthy vitamins, minerals, amino acids and restorative acids which build up the collagen in the thinning skin. This will then minimize unwanted lines and wrinkles even though Botox injection wears off.
Most of the people use injectable smoothers to make eyes look larger, shape the face or soften a square jaw, by relaxing over-developed jaw muscles. Injectable smoothers are a favourite amongst many because they are minimally invasive, cheaper than a plastic surgery and are non-permanent. They are also able to create a mini face lift by relaxing facial muscles, so other muscles pull skin up slightly. In fact they are also used to reduce pore size and control excess sweating. The downtime like mild swelling will subside in a couple of hours and the procedure is comfortable which can be done over your lunch.
How it works
The Dermal Lift treatment is a series of Botulinum toxin injections administered along the jawline up to just beyond the temple area, to target mid-face lifting and rejuvenation. It works by blocking the nerve transmission to muscle cells, thus relaxing the facial muscles. As a result, those muscle fibres contract much less and no longer create “dynamic lines” in the treated area. Results will typically be noticeable within a few days and will usually last 3 to 4 months.
This can be used for a variety of facial rejuvenation techniques, including elevating the brow by treating the brow depressor muscles. This gives the eyes a more open, lifted look (which is why it is also known as a brow lift).
Targeted areas exclude the muscles responsible for facial expressions. Instead, this treatment works on the fine muscles that control pore size and the platysma muscles of the jawline to counteract any sagging effects due to loss of firmness.
Ideal Candidates for Dermal Lift
- Individuals who are beginning to notice gaunt, sunken features and suffering from loss of tissue volume, which in turn leads to wrinkles, lines and folds.
- Women in their 40s who are just starting to see the signs of ageing, but who are not yet candidates for a surgical facelift.
- People who have had a facelift in the past, but do not look as youthful as they could because the facelift did not address age-related volume loss.
