Facial Dermal Fillers (Nose, Chin & Undereyes)
Dermal fillers are commonly used for facial remodelling. Depending on what your needs are, your face is reshaped by “sharpening” or “smoothing” your features. The process is quick and relatively painless with very little downtime and lasting results.
With this semi-permanent and minimally-invasive treatment, you can:
Restore an ageing face by:
- Improving skin texture
- Reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
- Replacing lost facial volume
Or enhance a younger face by:
- Preventing the formation of wrinkles
- Adding in volume where it is needed (e.g. nose bridge, cheeks, chin, forehead and lips)
- Correcting recessed scars
The aim of facial remodelling is to restore a softer, more youthful look to your face, and to enhance your natural features – rather than radically changing it.
This is done through injections into the skin using a small needle. Some patients may experience slight bruising, but this is usually light and can be easily concealed with makeup.
Besides using fillers for nose, cheeks, chin or forehead, a popular treatment at the clinic is the Korean “love band” plumper, also known as the Ageyo Sal plumper. Fillers, when injected into the under-eye area near the lower lashline, accentuate your natural fatty deposits to create the appearance of bigger and rounder eyes, rather than drawing attention to the dark under-eye circles caused by lack of sleep. This is a suitable treatment for those who hope to look sweeter and more youthful.
How it works
As the skin ages, it gradually loses some of its collagen and fat. These are the materials that prevent the skin from sagging. Thus, as we age, our skin can become thinner and more wrinkled. Fillers are injected into the skin in areas where it needs to be plumped up and made to look firmer. There are many types of substances used for fillers, such as human fat, collagen, paraffin, hyaluronic acid and calcium hydroxylapatite.

Privé Clinic uses several brands of fillers:
These fillers are FDA and HSA- approved, and have a long history of safety.
If you’re looking at semi-permanent fillers, you can consider the Aquamid filler. Aquamid is a unique soft volume filler which produces immediate results. But unlike temporary fillers, the results can last for up to 5 years. It is biocompatible, non-allergenic and its high water content makes the treated area look and feel incredibly soft and natural.
Not only is product choice important, it is also fundamental that your doctor takes into account a patient’s unique facial characteristics and goals when performing a filler procedure. Each person has unique facial features and skin type, as well as varying degrees of skin damage, collagen depletion and skin laxity. Patients will also have their own unique goals and desires. Our experienced doctors will take into account all these variables, to optimise your Privé Clinic experience and what you wish to achieve.
