Injectable smoothers, such as Botox or Dysport are made from Botulinum Toxin Type A. They work by relaxing targeted muscles under the skin, which in turn smooths out wrinkles like crows feet and forehead lines.
Botox is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles and used to improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in people 18 to 65 years of age for a short period of time.
Botox can also be injected to the jaw where there is an enlarged muscle making it weakened. This will eventually make it smaller giving a face a slimmer look.
Mesobotox is a diluted form of botulinum toxin type-A Botox that almost has the same effect with Botox which minimizes the wrinkling of the skin, however, it also has micro-injections of healthy vitamins, minerals, amino acids and restorative acids which build up the collagen in the thinning skin. This will then minimize unwanted lines and wrinkles even though Botox injection wears off.
Most of the people use injectable smoothers to make eyes look larger, shape the face or soften a square jaw, by relaxing over-developed jaw muscles. Injectable smoothers are a favourite amongst many because they are minimally invasive, cheaper than a plastic surgery and are non-permanent. They are also able to create a mini face lift by relaxing facial muscles, so other muscles “pull” skin up slightly. In fact they are also used to reduce pore size and control excess sweating. The downtime like mild swelling will subsides in a couple of hours and the procedure is comfortable which can be done over your lunch.
